Often mistaken for Black House Spiders, Badumna longuina also spend much of the dark hours engaged in web maintainance. These webs are not sticky and rely upon being able to tangle the feet of their prey. Very common spider around the forest and garden preferring natural to man-made nesting sites Common predators of these spiders are Huntsmen Spiders, White Tailed Spiders and all sorts of spider hunting wasps
