I do not know all that much about this spider. They range in color from dark grey to light brown. They are found on the East Coast of Australia ranging from at least Sydney to Brisbane and certainly further.

 

They rest in the day and are active at night.

 

They are one of my favorite spiders. Very timid

  Dolophones conifera

This spider has apparently been called the Wrap-around-spider because the shape of it's body allows it to fit onto a twig it might be using to hide against. I thought turtle Shell Spider because of the shape of the shell.

 

The spider in the top photograph is sitting on a standard wooden clothes-peg and fits quite comfortable as well as being almost invisible unless you really look hard
