Grey House Spider

I have been finding this spider under bits of old roofing-tin and among rocks for many years so I know they are present along the ranges and coastal areas between Sydney and the Central Coast.
They are a fragile timid spider that seems to use a sticky type of web. The body is about as small as a dried pea in adults.
There is some doubt as to the identity of the spider in the image. Some websites and sources show a spider which is only vaguely like the spider in the photo. I am sticking with the spider identity site from The University of Southern Queensland which is certainly the same beast as the one in the photo

Also known as the Common House Spider because they have a liking for the undersides of outdoor furniture and similar sites. Have been known to have a painful but not dangerous bite
